About NeuroMotion Studio

At NeuroMotion Studio, we believe that movement is more than traditional exercise - it's a powerful way to support the nervous system, improve function, and build confidence.  It is about proving you are not broken.

NeuroMotion Studio combines Pilates, applied neuroscience and pain science to help individuals living with chronic pain, brain injury, and other neurological conditions move with greater ease, resilience and confidence.  The NeuroMotion Method is grounded in the understanding that the brain and the nervous system play a central role in how we experience movement, balance, strength and pain.

It is the nervous system that dictates how we experience the world.

Through personalized and group virtual sessions, we help clients develop greater body awareness, improve mobility and balance, reduce fear of movement, and discover strategies that support meaningful improvements in everyday life.

Whether your navigating chronic pain, recovering from a concussion, living with a neurological condition, or simply looking for a more individualized and evidence informed approach to movement, NeuroMotion Studio can help you reach your unique goals while recognizing your nervous system is like no one else's.

About Jennie

Maybe 10.jpg

Hi, I'm Jennie, founder of NeuroMotion Studio

and the NeuroMotion Method

I am a Pilates Trainer with over 10 years of experience

helping people improve movement, strength, pain and

confidence.  Over the last 10 plus years I have been working in

several health and wellness facilities including Physiotherapy

clinics, Personal Training facilities and Osteopathic clinics.  I

have also done some work with Brain Injury Associations.

Over the years my practice has evolved beyond traditional

fitness to a Brain Based approach, intersecting movement,

neuroscience and pain education.

My professional training and experience includes:

  • Over a decade of Pilates and Movement Instruction

  • Education in applied neuroscience

  • Certified Z-Health Instructor

  • Cerfified Level 2 Neuro Studio Teacher

  • Restore Your Core Teacher

  • Barefoot Training Specialist

  • Education in contemporary pain science

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing

chronic pain, acquired brain injuries and a variety of neurological

conditions.  I have collaborated with brain injury associations and

supported people navigating the challenges of recovery and long term

neurological health.

The NeuroMotion approach is deeply informed by both professional

experience and eduction as well as my own personal health journey.

As someone who has lived with chronic pain, I understand how frustrating,

isolating, devastating and limiting pain can feel.  My own journey led me to

explore the fields of neuroscience, neuroplasticity, movement and pain science,

transforming not only how I view pain, but also how I support others.

I am passionate about helping others discover that meaningful change is possible, even when they have been told that their symptoms are something they simply have to live with or "it is all in your head".

The NeuroMotion Method is inspired by the following Quote,

“There is more to us than we know.  If we can be made to see it, perhaps for the rest of our lives we will be unwilling to settle for anything less”.
